- All of our men’s shoes are wider than conventional men’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes.
- Natural materials (like leather or canvas) may stretch during initial wear.
- If you think of your foot as particularly narrow, you can consider ordering a women’s style. Many of our male customers find a great fit in our women’s styles.
- Our men's and women's shoes are very similar, the difference will be the width. The men's version will have an extra 1/4-1/8" width compared to the women's version. Our shoes are designed wide (almost EE in the toe box) to allow the foot to flex and bend naturally.
- If you would like to try a narrower fit, you can size up half a size in a womens styles - use the womens UK size listed in the narrower fit column below.
- People like different types of fit — some like their toes near the end, others like 0.5 cm – 1.5 cm of extra space, if so then you can look to order the next size up.

My First Pair of Barefoot Shoes
"These shoes have lasted me about 18 months and counting, which included 6 months of training for a trail marathon, where I was running 3 times a week on all surfaces. Also 2 half marathons which were all my first running events. It feels so snug and light but very strong. I noticed the difference in my efficiency straight away. I have high arched feet and, in soled shoes, overtime my feet tend to angle inwards when the rubber wears down. But with these shoes it felt like a reset for my body's geometry. I could feel my body aligning properly with a neutral angle from my natural foot and in turn the rest of my body benefited, especially with the full force of trail running."
