Getting the right fit for you in your Xero Shoes

Men's

• All of our men’s shoes are wider than conventional men’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes.
• Natural materials (like leather or canvas) may stretch during initial wear.
• Our shoes are designed wide (almost EE in the toe box) to allow the foot to flex and bend naturally.
• If you think of your foot as particularly narrow, you can consider ordering a women’s style.
• Many of our male customers find a great fit in our women’s styles. Just be sure to adjust the size by 1.5 for closed shoes (for example a men’s US 7 is the same as a women’s US 8.5), and 1 for sandals. 
• People like different types of fit — some like their toes near the end, others like 1/4″-1/2″ of extra space.

• All of our women’s shoes are wider than conventional women’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes.

• Our shoes are designed wide (almost EE in the toe box) to allow the foot to flex and bend naturally.
• If you think of your foot as particularly wide, you can consider ordering a men’s style.
• Many of our female customers find a great fit in our men’s styles. Just be sure to adjust the size by 1.5 for closed shoes (for example a men’s US 7 is the same as a women’s US 8.5), and 1 for sandals (for example a men’s US 8, would be comparable in length to a women’s US 9.

Men's vs Women's Sizing

Kids

• All of our children’s shoes are wider than conventional children’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes.
• Natural materials (like leather or canvas) may stretch during initial wear.
• If your child is between sizes, go with the larger one for wiggle room and growth.
  
• If you think of your foot is a bit longer than the youth size 3, you can consider ordering the narrower but longer women’s style.
• A Women's US 6 is approximately a half size larger than our Youth US 4, making it a natural transition into adult sizes.
• People like different types of fit — some like their toes near the end, others like 0.5 cm – 1.5 cm of extra space, if so you then you can look to order the next size up.
