Caring for your Xero Shoes

Since the Glenn has a leather upper, it’s a good idea to use a leather conditioner every few months, or as needed if the leather looks dry or dull.

To clean your Glenn, use any commercially available leather cleaner and follow up with a leather conditioner. For tough spots, gently scrub with a warm, damp cloth or damp soft bristle brush and allow to air dry. Then follow up with a leather conditioner.

WARNING: It is possible to over-condition, which may result in the leather looking and feeling greasy or oily.

The Glenn - I’m impressed.

After some fairly extensive experimentation with shoe sizing (my wife thought I was starting a shoe shop), I have now found the perfect size/fit. Returns process was very straight forward and comms have been great so far throughout the process. Thanks Xero. These Glenn’s are smart enough to wear with chinos for work, but casual enough to go with shorts or jeans. Basically a versatile shoe that is plenty wide enough and very very comfortable. Too early to say re durability, but they look pretty solid.

Not he best barefoot shoe experience I've had

This is my 2nd pair; the 1st pair were a little too tight for my liking, so the sizing is a bit off, but one size larger than I would normally buy, fits fine. They're not the most comfortable barefoot show I've bought, and they need to be laced up tight to prevent them rubbing my Achilles tendon while walking. The appeal of the Xero brand to me is the sole guarantee, because I tend to be able to walk my way through a new pair of shoes within a few months, so I'm a little disappointed to find that, after about 20 hours of walking in them, it only took a small stone to puncture the sole right through to the leather insole. Time will tell how well they hold up after a few thousand kilometers.
