Prio

What can I do in the Prio?

Practically anything. The Prio is our first “performance” shoe.

It’s great for road running, light trail running, walking, hiking, working out, Crossfit, biking, and slacklining… it’s obviously up to you. Once you get them on, I’m sure you’ll do things we never thought of (and we want to see pictures of that!).

What do I do with those straps on the Prio?

I’ll admit, this is one of my favourite things about the Prio.

The huarache-sandal-inspired heel strap can be used to hold your heel and ankle in place. Pull the straps through the ankle holes in the sole, and then lock them in place with the laces.

The instep straps can be used to secure your instep, which can free up your toes and forefoot to relax and function better. Use the laces to tighten or loosen them to your liking.

Is the Prio Waterproof?

It’s not. But the breathable mesh upper should help it dry quickly if you get them wet.

How do I find my Prio Size?

Shoe sizing, especially online, is not a perfect process. That’s why we have an exchange policy.
For US/EU sizing, there’s a conversion chart at the bottom of the Prio product description.

The Prio fit true to size. We recommend going with your usual athletic shoe size.

Also, the Prio is wider than conventional running shoes.

Sizing for a shoe is different than a sandal, so if you own one of our sandals, that doesn’t mean you’ll pick the same size in the Prio, so use the measuring info if you can.

Keep in mind, though, that because the foot is three-dimensional, any two-dimensional measuring tool, such as a ruler or Brannock device®, can only approximate your true shoe size. Manufacturers model their shoes on different foot shapes, which is why you might be a 5 in one brand and a 6 in another.

If your foot is really wide and larger than a women’s 6.5, you may want to check out the “men’s” Prio. The conversion between men’s and women’s is 1, so a women’s 6.5 is the same as a wider men’s 5.5.

I don’t think I’m wearing any other shoes after this!

These shoes are so comfortable and actually make my feet feel better! They take some time to get used to but after you do you won’t be wanting to take them off. Sometimes it feels like i’m not even wearing shoes. I was skeptical about the barefoot lifestyle but it’s definitely helping with my feet and back problems. I’m definitely buying more pairs!

Incorrect size

Had to return the shoes as the sizing was totally wrong , I'm not sure how the shoes are measured. I would normally wear 5.5uk which is what I ordered but my toes were right at the end. Not ordering another pair awaiting refund.

I love my Prios!

My Prios are very comfortable. They're my first 'daily wear' barefoot shoe. I run in barefoot (five fingers) and wanted to transition to barefoot for daily wear and quite possibly a shoe without toe pockets for running. After a lot of reading and Youtube settled on the Prios. I am not disappointed. I love them and find them very comfortable for long, 12.5 hospital shifts where I am standing almost the entire time. I have yet to do any proper miles in them. I have done a few short runs and they're comfortable so far. I don't necessarily think they're the coolest looking shoe in the world and the laces feel bulky. I would prefer a thinner lace like on my VFFs and may swap them out at some point. BUT! I do love them and am over the moon. I will definitely be buying more Xeros in future and when these wear out, I will replace them with the same pair again.
