Purchase

Find them extremely comfortable but for long 12 hour days fond that I may need more cushion or an insert for work . But for hiking i love them, feel more connected to the ground.

Transitioning from "normal" footwear

As the title says, I'm in the midst of transitioning to footwear that lets my feet be themselves lol. This has been a great purchase, and a year later, I'm replacing them with the same pair. Four starts bc the shoelaces come undone pretty easy. I think it's the shape of the laces.

Super comfortable shoes

These Mesa - Trail shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I have short, wide feet (and a bunion, ugh) and the advice to order a size larger was on target. I'm very happy with the shoes. In Minnesota's undending winter they're my indoor shoes - I hope to wear them outdoors once the snow & mud season is past. Thank you!

Pros and cons

I have always hated shoes and preferred to be barefoot whenever possible. I was willing to sacrifice protection for the comfort of not wearing shoes even while mowing the lawn. When I first put my new Xero shoes on I liked them but didn't love them. Then I found out the insole could be removed. I love these shoes. I don't feel like my feet are being strangled. My balance is better, I can feel changes in the ground below me. My feet don't ache by the end of the day. I no longer want to take my shoes off every chance I get. Best shoes I've ever bought! I do have one complaint about my new Xero shoes. After wearing them for a week, I tried to wear another pair of shoes. It was horrible! They felt heavy, constricting, the arches just felt wrong, and I hated them! Let me just say, I had worn those shoes comfortably for the last six months. I don't think I can ever comfortably wear other shoes again. Do you make a Xero snow boot?
