While the boot has a thin layer of our TrailFoam™ to provide extra comfort and protection on rough trails, the thick sole is an illusion created by our design team to make this look like a conventional hiking boot. You get the lightweight flexibility you’ve come to expect from Xero Shoes. Averaging just 346 g per boot (men’s 8), a pair of the Scrambler Mid II WP weighs less than just one single boot from most other companies.

Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

At last the perfect do it all boot.

I genuinely feel this is the best boot / shoe I have ever had. I can run, hike and work with these and be foot free, comfortable and confident that nothing will phase them or me. The way they are shaped and constructed makes them more like a protective second skin: a part of your anatomy rather than an inefficient add on; a scalpel rather than a blunt axe. Beautifully made, top quality materials. Cannot praise them enough.

I bought these but have had to return as they were too small. Recommend that you order a half size or a full size larger than normal. Other than that they looked great. When are Xero UK going to open a physical store, I wonder?

Perfect for hiking

I’ve been using these for around three weeks now and they’re absolutely what I’ve been looking for. I’m 6’3” and don’t like walking boots with a thick sole but in spite of these being incredibly flat they’re still robust enough to prevent my feet from feeling every tiny stone and treat root. They’re also perfectly water proof and grip onto surfaces a treat!
