You get the lightweight flexibility you’ve come to expect from Xero Shoes. Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Nice shoes, bad shopping experience

I ordered a pair of Xero Scrambler Mid II because I'd been looking for a barefoot walking boots that were waterproof. The sizing, I ordered my regular UK size which is a 6 and noted that the EU size was 38, not my normal 39. I think Xero have translated the sizings incorrect for women. When they arrived, they were too small. So I started the complicated process of an exchange. They ask you to purchase the pair in the correct size, then make note that it's an exchange. The royal mail label they email you to send the original pair back is a print at home only, the post office will not print the label for you. So I had to find a way of printing it out myself or they said I could pay to return them myself. In the 10 days it took me to do this, they did not process my new shoes. Meanwhile I was down the cost of two sets of shoes. My refund was processed for the original set and my new shoes fit perfectly EU39 UK7. I love the shoes but this process was awful. It would be much easier if they had sent a QR code to have the post office print a label, it's part of the royal mail service but not part of this returns service. If you're ordering a women's size and know your EU size, order that one! Don't use their exchange service, better to order a new pair and get a refund for the other set so you get them faster.

Waterproof

My last pair of scramblers were the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. They required no breaking in at all. However, they were not waterproof. These are almost as comfortable (a little breaking in was required), but I had dry feet at the end of several rainy, muddy, puddle-filled walks. I definitely recommend them!
