To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Fantastic

Have done a number of long walks and a bit of running in these, and they have been comfortable right from the start. No rubbing, aches or pains: at the end of a long walk, my feet just feel normal. Having come to these as my first properly barefoot-style shoe, I love that they aren't trying to tip my feet forward, or sideways, or trying to 'support' bits of my foot or remould my foot to someone else's foot shape. Pros * Good fit: feels secure without being restrictive * Can feel the ground pretty well despite the lugs * Good grip on most surfaces * Mesh stops them getting hot and sweaty * The toe cap and sides mean that although not a waterproof shoe, you can walk through a little bit of mud without immediately getting soaked Cons / trade-offs * No grip on hard wet surfaces. (Suspect this is a combination of a "soft ground" tread with fairly wide spacing between the lugs, combined with quite a hard rubber) * The combination of a thin sole and pretty aggressive lugs means that you can feel the lugs through the sole if you wear them on hard flat surfaces. This is noticeable walking ~15 mins on tarmac from my house to the start of the footpath: if you went for a longer walk on hard flat surfaces, the constant pressure in the same spots might get uncomfortable.

Good shoes but hard to find the right size

These are good shoes, flexible and with great grip. It was really hard to find the right size to fit me - I tried several sizes in the women’s fit until trying the wider fit men’s. Sadly even with the wider fit they are still pinching at the toes, especially with thicker socks.

Brilliant wide fit shoes

Overall we enjoyed the product - my wife has wide foot so ordered men’s shoes for her ( size 7 ) it worked wonderfully well- before this shoe she tried various brands which didn’t work out.

Life Changing

I plan to make a more extensive review of the Mesa Trail II, but in short these shoes have been life changing. I've suffered with a long term foot injury and these bad boys have all but sorted this out. First week felt like heaven and surprisingly had zero breaking in required or getting used to the zero drop. To say I'm pleased would be a massive understatement.
